El Peñol Rock

El Peñol Rock is the most famous place in Guatapé. You must visit this giant rock if you travel there. You have to climb more than 700 stairs to reach the top. If you go up the rock, you will see an incredible view of the lake and the mountains. You should take pictures because the view is unforgettable.

Guatapé Town and the Malecón

You should walk around the town and check out the colorful zócalos on the houses. They show the culture and traditions of the people. You can hang out in the main square and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. You must also go to the Malecón to look at the lake and relax.
